Returns & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: August 2026

At EV-RF, we are committed to supplying high-quality RF antenna systems and accessories backed by responsive customer service.

This Returns & Warranty Policy explains your rights and responsibilities when returning products or making a warranty claim.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product experiences a major failure, you may be entitled to:

  • a replacement;
  • a refund; or
  • compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure is not a major failure, you may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.

These rights apply in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty provided by EV-RF or the original equipment manufacturer.

2. Manufacturer’s Warranty

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, EV-RF products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

Where a manufacturer offers a longer warranty period, that manufacturer’s warranty will apply.

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise specified.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use, including:

  • defective materials;
  • faulty connectors;
  • manufacturing faults;
  • workmanship defects;
  • supplied mounting hardware found to be defective;
  • supplied cables found to be defective under normal operating conditions.

Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, EV-RF may, at its discretion:

  • repair the product;
  • replace the product with the same or equivalent model;
  • provide a full or partial refund where appropriate.

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • incorrect installation;
  • improper mounting;
  • accidental damage;
  • misuse or abuse;
  • modification or unauthorised repair;
  • operation outside published specifications;
  • normal cosmetic wear;
  • corrosion resulting from unsuitable environments;
  • damage caused by extreme weather;
  • lightning strikes;
  • power surges;
  • use with incompatible equipment;
  • damage occurring during customer installation.

Products showing evidence of misuse or unauthorised modification may not be eligible for warranty service.

5. RF Performance

RF performance depends on many factors beyond the control of EV-RF, including:

  • mobile network coverage;
  • network congestion;
  • terrain;
  • vegetation;
  • surrounding buildings;
  • mounting height;
  • antenna positioning;
  • cable losses;
  • modem or router performance;
  • local radio frequency interference.

For this reason, EV-RF cannot guarantee specific improvements in signal strength, data speeds or mobile coverage.

6. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that customers occasionally change their minds.

Subject to the conditions below, EV-RF may accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery.

Returned products must:

  • be unused;
  • not have been installed;
  • be in as-new condition;
  • include all accessories;
  • include original packaging;
  • include proof of purchase.

Acceptance of a change-of-mind return is at the discretion of EV-RF after inspection of the returned goods.

Original shipping charges are not refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

7. Non-Returnable Items

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, we cannot accept returns for:

  • custom cable assemblies;
  • products manufactured or modified to customer specifications;
  • special-order items;
  • clearance or discontinued products purchased on a final-sale basis;
  • products that have been installed;
  • products showing signs of misuse or damage.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

Please inspect your order as soon as it is received.

If your shipment arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item:

  • retain all packaging;
  • photograph the packaging and product;
  • contact EV-RF within five (5) business days of delivery.

Where the error or damage is our responsibility, we will arrange an appropriate remedy as quickly as possible.

9. Return Authorisation (RA)

Products must not be returned without prior approval.

To request a Return Authorisation, please email:

info@ev-rf.com

Please include:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • contact details;
  • product purchased;
  • description of the issue;
  • photographs where applicable.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

Returns received without a Return Authorisation may be refused.

10. Return Shipping

Warranty Claims

Where a warranty claim is accepted, EV-RF will reimburse or arrange reasonable return shipping costs where required.

Change of Mind Returns

Customers are responsible for all return freight costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

EV-RF is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit.

11. Inspection and Assessment

Returned products are inspected upon arrival.

Inspection is normally completed within five (5) business days.

Where additional testing is required, assessment may take longer.

If a warranty claim is approved, EV-RF will advise whether the product will be:

  • repaired;
  • replaced; or
  • refunded.

12. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

Please allow:

  • up to five (5) business days for EV-RF to process the refund; and
  • additional processing time required by your bank or payment provider.

Shipping charges are refunded only where required by Australian Consumer Law.

13. Exchanges

Where stock is available, EV-RF may offer an exchange instead of a refund.

If the replacement product differs in price, the customer will either pay or receive the difference.

14. Commercial Installations

Products intended for commercial, industrial or telecommunications applications should be installed by suitably qualified personnel.

Improper installation may affect both product performance and warranty eligibility.

15. Limitation of Warranty

Except for rights provided under Australian Consumer Law, this policy represents the complete warranty offered by EV-RF.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EV-RF is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses including:

  • business interruption;
  • loss of profits;
  • loss of productivity;
  • loss of internet connectivity;
  • installation costs;
  • travel expenses;
  • consequential commercial losses arising from product failure.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
